# Users

The Users view (opens new window) allows you to see a detailed summary of data associated with a single or multiple users.

# Search by users

You can get a list of all the users who are in your database. To perform the query, do the following:

Navigate to the Analytis > Users (opens new window) screen.

All the users are displayed in the table sorted by their Master Ids. Click on any of the rows to view individual results.

You can narrow your results by entering the identifier (usually email) into the search bar.

The dropdown "Columns" will alow you to select metrics that will show individual values for each user.

"User count" number shows the total number of users in the organization.

"Filter by" allows you to get the list of all the users who are in a specified segment.

# Heat map

Heat map allows you to view user activity visually - how many new users are recorded monthly.

The darker the color, the more new users appeared in your organization. You can view the exact number by hovering above the boxes.

You can click on "View details" to see the detailed information about the user.

# User details

From the individual user details page, you can view the following:

  • User events
  • Profile information
  • Attributes
  • Device information
  • Location details
  • Sources (user is in)
  • Segments (user is in)

# User events

The events section allows you to see all the user events in a selected time period.

You can click on each row see the event details on the side panel.

By clicking on the "Raw" toggle, you can access the raw view for more details.

By selecting the filter dropdowns, you can refine the event list by specified date and sources.

Buttons with arrow icons allows you to select events next/ previous or most recent/ oldest event.

# User information

User information will show all the details which were tracked.

# Profile

  • Master ID - unique ID number assigned to every user in the organization.
  • Email - the email address that is used to identify the user.
  • First seen - the first time user's activity was tracked.
  • Last seen - the last ime user's activity was tracked.

# User attributes

List of all available user attributes.

# Location

If available, user location details (country, city, longitude, latitude) will be displayed.

# Sources

A list of all sources where user activity was tracked.

# Segments

A list of all segments the user is a member of.
