Overview
Enrichment allows you to automatically update and enhance user or account profiles using trusted data providers - People Data Labs (PDL) and Dropcontact (DC).
These providers use the data you already have - such as name, email address, phone number, or company domain - to search their databases and return verified, enriched information.
Depending on whether you are enriching Users or Accounts, the process can:
For Users: Add or update details like full name, job title, company, social media profiles, location, and other demographic or professional attributes.
For Accounts: Add or update company name, industry, size, location, domain, and other firmographic details.
By leveraging this enrichment process, you can fill in missing data, correct outdated fields, and create new attributes for a more complete and accurate view of your customers.
This enables better segmentation, personalization, and targeting across your Journeys and campaigns — without requiring manual data entry or multiple external integrations.
Data sources
People Data Labs (PDL) – Specializes in professional and demographic data. PDL matches your input (email, name, company, LinkedIn, phone, location) to a dataset of 3B+ professional profiles, returning rich attributes such as:
Verified emails & phone numbers
Job titles & employment details
Social profiles & education history
Dropcontact (DC) – Specializes in contact and company data validation. GDPR-compliant and AI-powered, DC focuses on:
Verified business emails (50–80% match rate)
Name/title corrections & civility (Mr/Ms)
LinkedIn profiles, business phones, and company websites
Automatic deduplication & record cleaning
When you run enrichment, Intempt sends the available profile attributes (such as name, email, phone number, or domain) to these providers. They return verified, updated, or additional information, which is then merged into your user or account profile.
How to use
To enrich user or account data:
Navigate to the Users or Accounts section.
Select one or more records you want to enrich.
Click the Enrich button at the top of the table.
The system will automatically send the selected records to PDL and/or DC for enrichment. Once the process is complete, the updated details will appear in the user or account profile page, along with the Last enriched date.
